Bio

Colby, a native of Birch Run, Michigan, enters his first year as Head Coach, after completing a season as an assistant. He developed his passion for baseball as a member of the Birch Run High School team before graduating in 2021. He continued his playing career as a catcher at Delta College, where he was a member of the Pioneers baseball program, serving as team captain and Athletic Department Captain. He later transferred to Alma College to continue his collegiate baseball career, before injuries ended it prematurely.

Currently residing in Birch Run, Colby is completing his bachelor’s degree in Communications at Saginaw Valley State University. As a proud Delta College Baseball alumnus, he brings first-hand knowledge of the program and its values. Known for his integrity, work ethic, and goal-oriented approach, Colby is committed to developing student-athletes on and off the field and contributing to the continued growth of the Delta College Baseball program.
