Delta College Defeats Kellogg in the Consolation Bracket of the Owens Express Kick Off Tournament

Round two of the Owens Community College Express Kick Off Tournament in Toledo, Ohio went the way of the Pioneers as they jumped out to an early halftime lead of 54-33. Unlike round one when the Pioneers hit on just 34% of their field goal attempts, round two saw the Pioneers burn the net at a 53% clip, hitting on 20 of 38 attempts from the floor. The Pioneers posted five players in double figures led by Justinn Bernard with 20 points. Caleb McIntosh and Tre Johnson each hit 17, while Austin Marine and Bernard Whitehead contributed 16 and 12 respectively.
