Prior to accepting the head coach position at Delta Randy spent eight years as the head coach at John Glenn High school in Bay City. Under Coach Mullard’s leadership the program won its first District Title in its over 40 year history, set the single season homerun record (30), and the single season win record (25).  Randy was named the District Coach of the year in 2010.

During his eight years at Glenn, Mullard coached over 30 of his players to all-conference awards, 16 all-district awards, six all-region awards, and two all-state awards. In addition since taking over the program he also began sending a steady flow of student-athletes on to play at the intercollegiate levels. During his off-season coach Mullard also was a volunteer coach at the University of Michigan Dearborn. Coach Mullard has also coached multiple travel teams from 14U-18U in the local area for the past eight years.

Randy’s playing experience includes being a member of the Combined Armed Services Team; the Phoenix Stars and Phoenix Misfits open major teams.

Coach Mullard is a United States Army veteran who retired after 23 years of service. While in the Army he served as a 19D Calvary Scout, recruiter, station commander, recruiter training, company first sergeant, and was named and served as the Great Lakes Recruiting Battalion interim Command Sergeant Major.

Coach Mullard graduated from Columbia Southern University with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing.
