Owens Community College Advances to Nationals

First year coach Kennith Hewitt had his girls ready to play this weekend. Owens, ranked # 2 coming in to the Regional tournament played a a great weekend of soccer. After defeating Delta College 2 - 1 on Saturday they turned their attention to Schoolcraft College. It was a battle the whole game as the first goal was not scored until the 70th minute. With a defensive backfield to stop the dangerous attack of Schoolcraft, Owens held on to the win. This is Owens second year in a row competing at the National Tournament. We wish them well as they represent Region 12.
