The Delta College Pioneers continued their undefeated conference campaign on Sunday with an impressive 11-0 win over St. Clair County Community College. The victory marked the team's sixth consecutive shutout, showcasing both offensive firepower and defensive discipline.
The Pioneers wasted no time establishing control. Just three minutes into play, Alahna Beckett opened the scoring—her first of three on the day—off a well-placed pass from Bella Workman. Moments later, Workman added her own goal in the sixth minute after connecting with a perfectly timed ball from defender Rylee Jatczak. In the ninth minute, Brooke Swartz found the back of the net with her first of two goals, both assisted by Molly Siler.
Beckett struck again in the 15th and 27th minutes to complete her hat trick, before Siler tallied one of her own off an assist from Workman. Freshman Avery Dean closed out the first-half scoring in the 42nd minute, sending Delta into halftime with a commanding 8-0 lead.
The second half saw the Pioneers continue to control possession and dictate the tempo. Freshman Ella Wallaker added two goals, one from a set piece and another assisted by Ciara Kelly. The scoring was capped by Maddy Gracias, who converted a pass from Anna Weston to seal the 11-0 result.
Defensively, Delta remained organized and disciplined, limiting the Skippers to just three total shots and neutralizing any serious threats. The shutout extended the Pioneers' streak to six straight and improved their record to 5-0 in conference play, 6-0 in regional play, and 7-0-1 overall.
The Pioneers will look to carry their momentum into their next matchup on the road against Alpena Community College on October 4, 2025, at 1 p.m
