Bio

Christine Schanz MS, AT, ATC, OPE-C came to Delta College in 2022 as an Athletic Trainer after more than eight years in Ohio. Christine has practiced athletic training in high school, collegiate and clinical settings. During her time in Ohio, her teams made multiple state finals appearances.

Christine obtained her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in athletic training from Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio, in 2012. After spending time in the field, she continued her education at Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio, completing a Master of Science in exercise science in 2016.

Christine resides in Saginaw with her husband, daughter and fur-babies. In her free time, she enjoys a good book, crafting and chai lattes.
