Softball Home vs. Delta College-DH

The MCC Softball team and the Delta Softball team split a doubleheader on Saturday. MCC dropped the first game 8-7 but bounced back for 5-4 victory in game 2.

In the opener the Jayhawks gave up 11 hits. Brooklyn Galdeen (Oakridge) was 2-3 and the Pastor sisters (Oakridge) continued their home run power; Brie was 1-3 with a home run good for 3 RBI and Jasmine was 1-3 with a home run a 2 RBI. Cassie Kohnke (Fruitport) was 1-4 with a double and 2 RBI.

Brooklyn Galdeen picked up her 2nd win of the weekend in game 2 and Lilli Goodrich (Ludington) earned a save with an inning of work in relief. Galdeen helped her own cause, going 3-4 at the plate, Jasmine Pastor was 2-3 with a double and Aaliyah Calkins (Cedar Springs) was 1-3 with a home run.
