Delta College Golf Team Places 5th at Final Tournament for the Fall Season
Delta College's golf team delivered a strong performance at their final tournament, securing a 5th place finish overall with a combined team score of 325, placing them +37 over par. The Pioneers demonstrated their grit and competitiveness against tough competition, with standout individual efforts throughout the roster.
Leading the charge for the Pioneers was Jake Look, who carded a solid round of 76, finishing +4 over par and tied for 5th place individually. Look's consistent play was key to Delta's overall success, positioning him among the top contenders.
Kevin Groulx followed closely behind, posting a round of 78 to finish +6, earning a tie for 9th place. Nathan Cleghorn rounded out the top performers for the Pioneers, shooting a 79 (+7) and tying for 12th place, continuing his trend of steady contributions to the team.
Carson Shampo and Owen Wendt each carded rounds of 84, both finishing +12 and tying for 25th place. Their efforts added crucial support to the team's collective score.
Odin Medrick also contributed to the Pioneers' efforts, shooting an 89 to finish +17, placing him in 45th overall.
