The Delta College Women's Soccer team continued its reign of dominance, capturing its ninth consecutive NJCAA Division III Region 12 Championship with a commanding 7–0 victory over Owens Community College on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at home in University Center.
The Pioneers wasted no time asserting control, scoring five goals in the first half, starting with Brooke Swartz just under a minute into the game, finding the back of the net. Isabella Workman led the pack with two goals and three assists, contributing to six of Delta's seven goals. Alahna Beckett added two goals and one assist, while Sydney Lambert and Alexa Verhelst each found the back of the net to round out the scoring.
Delta completely controlled the match, outshooting Owens 38–1 and holding them without a single shot on goal. Goalkeepers Mia Warner and Niobe Marchalant combined for the shutout, preserving Delta's 13th clean sheet of the season.
With the win, Delta not only claimed its ninth straight regional title but also extended its dominant season-long scoring margin to 81–2. The Pioneers now advance to the NJCAA Division III Great Lakes District Tournament, where they'll look to continue their pursuit of another national tournament appearance.
