Delta College Dominates North Central Michigan in Commanding Win

Delta College delivered a dominant performance on Saturday afternoon, overpowering North Central Michigan 94-46 in a decisive home victory. With this win, the Pioneers improved to 10-14 overall and 5-6 in conference play, showcasing their depth and offensive efficiency.
From the opening tip, Delta College established control, erupting for 46 first-half points while limiting North Central Michigan to 20. The Pioneers continued their relentless pace in the second half, outscoring their opponents 48-26 to seal the lopsided victory.
Ja'Vion Blackwell led the charge for Delta, tallying 15 points while adding four rebounds and two steals. Jaylen Carter contributed a strong performance off the bench, posting 13 points and six rebounds. Brendon Schlink was efficient from beyond the arc, hitting three three-pointers on his way to an 11-point outing. London Williams also made a significant impact, finishing with 10 points and six rebounds.
Delta's dominance was reflected in their shooting efficiency, as they converted 51.3% of their field goals and 38.1% from three-point range. Their rebounding prowess was also on full display, outrebounding North Central Michigan 56-32.
For North Central Michigan, Thomas Conzelmann was the lone bright spot, leading his team with 12 points and six rebounds. Jalen Williams added nine points but struggled with efficiency, shooting 3-for-14 from the field. The Timberwolves as a team shot just 25.4% from the floor and 13.3% from beyond the arc, making it difficult to keep up with the Pioneers' offensive firepower.
