Delta College Women’s Basketball Secures Victory Over North Central Michigan
The Delta College women's basketball team demonstrated their prowess on the court with a decisive 77-55 victory against North Central Michigan on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Petoskey Plastics Arena.
Delta opened the game with a dominant first quarter, outscoring North Central 26-4, setting the tone for the rest of the matchup. While North Central rallied in the middle quarters, the Pioneers maintained their composure and closed strong, securing a comfortable win.

Leading the charge for Delta was Hailee Jefferson, who tallied 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds while shooting an efficient 8-of-15 from the field. Carah McCrum matched Jefferson's scoring with 18 points of her own, adding seven rebounds and showcasing her ability to attack the basket.
Ja'Leeah Griggs contributed off the bench with eight points and a team-high eight rebounds, demonstrating Delta's depth. Annaka Neetz also played a pivotal role, chipping in six points and six rebounds in limited minutes.
