Coaches comments:
Adding some insight, Associate Head Coach Covile said "This may have been the best display of team basketball played to date by us. We played against a tough Schoolcraft team but our guys never got rattled. We played great defense which created fast break opportunities for us to get easy transition points. We had 5 guys in double figures in points tonight which lets us know we shared the ball as well. What stood out the most was our will to win tonight. We could have folded under pressure but the leadership tonight amongst us was remarkable. Maybe we had some extra motivation to play harder against a team that previously beat us but our guys played tonight as a unit I'm glad today was the day we chose to."
Any adjustments for next games:
Some adjustments for next game will be focusing on limiting second chance points. Schoolcraft dominated us on the offensive boards with 18 totals. These adjustments are important because we want the team to keep the same momentum throughout the entire game. Each play is important as the next. We will make these adjustments by keeping in mind that defensive rebounding and blocking out is just as critical as offensive output. The team will start to exercise this more during practice to gain their confidence in this area.
