Smith and the Offense Power Delta to the Sweep
Solid pitching and a home run in each game for Makenna Smith lead Delta to the sweep over the Raiders.

Coming off two solid wins, Delta looked to continue their winning ways travelling to OCC to take on the Raiders. The doubleheader, originally scheduled to be a home contest for the Pioneers, ended up being moved to the road because of the non-spring like weather Michigan has been having.
In the first game, Kalen Tchorzynski took the mound and pitched a solid game collecting the win for Delta. She was aided by home runs that were hit by Makenna Smith and Kayla Gauthier. Kaylee Cypher was on the mound for the nightcap and pitched well, earning herself the victory. Smith once again fueled the offense hitting a home run giving her two for the day and now five for the season.
Coming up next for the Pioneers is a road doubleheader against the Schoolcraft Ocelots, a team in which Delta won three of their four contests against a season ago.
