Bio

Rachel Briggs is an incoming freshman for the Lady Pioneers.  Rachel is a 2016 graduate of Hill McCloy High School, where was a Captain of her Varsity Basketball Team.  She also was a member of National Honor Society.  She recently was part of her AAU Team, the Hoyas, and was part of the Hill Road Hoops Team.  Rachel volunteered at the Flint Soup Kitchen and Red Cross.  Rachel won the Scholar Athlete Award her junior and senior year.  She was awarded Genesee Area Conference, Defensive Player of the Year, Genesee Conference All-League, and Honorable Mention in Basketball.  Her most important role model is her mother, Lisa Briggs.  She plans to transfer to SVSU after her time at Delta.  In her downtime, Rachel enjoys spending time with friends and family, camping, fishing boating, running, listening to music, going to the beach, watching netflix, and working out.
