PIONEERS REMAIN UNDEFEATED
Game Outcome:
Delta College hosted Owens CC for a non-conference game. The Pioneers started the scoring early, when Arizona Cray sent a deep cross to Tori Malone for the game winning goal. Ten first half goals guaranteed the victory for Delta. The Pioneers would go on to win 14-0. This win brings Delta's record to 4-0-0 in the conference and 5-0-0 overall, which keeps them in first place in the MCCAA.
Standout Players of the Game:
The swarming pressure by the whole team was more than Owens was able to endure. Tori Malone had the game winning goal from a great deep cross from Arizona Cray. Rhianna Schermerhorn had 4 goals, with all of them coming in the first half. Kiah Nichols had 2 goals and 3 assists. Emily Bucholtz had 2 goals and 2 assists to help in this win for Delta.
Highlights from The Game:
The intense offensive pressure by the Pioneers was difference in this game. The creative ball movement made it extremely difficult for Owens to defend.

Coach's Comments:
Coach Damon Amey was very pleased with the effort today. The ball movement by the whole team is improving every day.
Adjustments for the next Game:
We will continue to stay the course in our training sessions, and continue to focus on individual ball skills as well as tactical team ball movement. The Pioneers will be hosting Ancilla College on Wednesday the 6th. The Pioneers currently have a #3 National ranking.
