Happy National Student-Athlete Day!

National Student-Athlete Day is recognized annually on April 6th. National Student-Athlete Day was designed to honor student-athletes who have achieved excellence in academics and athletics, while having made significant contributions to their schools and communities.

"We are excited to celebrate and recognize nearly 120 Pioneer student-athletes on National Student-Athlete Day," said Athletic Specialist Nicole Sanford. "Please join us in celebrating by supporting the Pioneer Athletics Fund for Excellence and enabling our women and men of Delta College to reach their full potential academically, athletically and as leaders in our community," added Sanford.

The over-arching mission of Pioneer Athletics is to support our student-athletes' personal, athletic, and academic goals. Our goal for every Pioneer is that they grow to become a better version of themselves in every aspect of their life. We will accomplish this by providing a first-class experience for all through equity and excellence. This can be achieved by partnering with our alumni, fans, and community to provide world-class resources to our coaches and student-athletes.
