PIONEERS TOP KELLOGG CC
Game Outcome:
Delta College hosted Kellogg CC for a game between two top ranked MCCAA teams. It was a competitive game that saw a lot of battling in the midfield. It was 20 minutes into the game when the Pioneers would get their first and game winning goal. Delta would go on to win 4-0. This win brings Delta's record to 4-0-0 in the conference and 4-0-0 overall, which keeps them in first place in the MCCAA.
Standout Players of the Game:
The whole team did an excellent job with their intensity and effort. Peyton Pratt had the game winning goal from a great deep cross from Arizona Cray. Macy Kammer had 2 goals, with one goal being a header on a corner kick from Anna Sabo.
Highlights from The Game:
The intensity of play from both teams made for a very exciting game. The three second half Delta goals put the game out of reach, and allowed the Pioneers to focus on a possession game. The Pioneers defense was outstanding, and worked very hard to prevent many dangerous opportunities for Kellogg.

Coach's Comments:
Coach Damon Amey was very pleased with the effort today. This was an important win today, and the team came out ready to play.
Adjustments for the next Game:
We will continue to stay the course in our training sessions, and continue to focus on individual ball skills as well as tactical team ball movement. The Pioneers will be hosting Owens on Friday the 1st. The Pioneers currently have a #4 National ranking.
