PIONEERS PICK UP 5-0 ROAD WIN AT ST. CLAIR
Game Outcome:
Delta College traveled to SC4 for another important conference game. Delta scored their game winning goal in the 28th minute of the game when Peyton Pratt sent a centering pass to Anna Sabo who sent a nice shot past the keeper. The Pioneers would take a 2-0 lead into halftime. They would score three more goals in the second half to earn a 5-0 shutout victory. This win brings Delta's record to 13-0-0 in the conference and 15-0-0 overall, which keeps them in first place in the MCCAA.
Standout Players of the Game:
Two assists by Peyton Pratt on the first two goals of the game, were critical in the first half success. Two of the five goals in the game came from dead ball restarts.
Highlights from the game:
The two goals in the first half made for a much more comfortable halftime discussion. Once the third goal was scored, Delta was able to slow down the game and work on possessing the ball. The Pioneers remain in a one game lead in the MCCAA standings.

Coach's Comments:
Coach Damon Amey was very glad to pick up another important conference road win. The consistent pressure on the SC4 team was a huge reason for our success today. We have four regular season games left, and we will not take any of them lightly.
Adjustments for the next Game:
Delta will continue to work on offensive creativity, accurate passing, and the ability to play a controlled combination game in the final attacking third of the field. The Pioneers will be traveling to Kellogg CC on Sunday the 8th. The Pioneers currently have a #1 National ranking.
